What is a life? Webster's Merriam defines life as a condition that distinguishes us from inorganic matter because we have the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity and continual change before death. Coach is defined as a person who instructs or trains. A life coach is someone who can train a willing student to grow their life into something beautiful while they are here. I believe who you are is more important than what you do. If you can tap into who you are, you will operate in clarity and find your passion in life. When you discover your passion, everything around you create new opportunities of growth and will reproduce endless seeds to distribute anywhere that you see fit.
Most people operate from a constant place of lack because they do not fully understand their place in this world. How can you give anyone your best when you are not at your best. You can only give out what you have stored up on the inside. If your storage is low, then you are giving what you really don't have to people who are just as empty as you are. It's like taking a road trip from Boston, MA to anywhere in California but only filling up one time. The car will stop running, you could potentially mess up the internal mechanisms of the vehicle and if you don't have AAA, towing back to Boston may cost you more than if you had just kept fuel in the vehicle. So, if we know we should do regular maintenance on our vehicle, get yearly physicals with our doctor and dentists, why do we think that we can go long periods of time without a mental check-up.
In a society that teaches it is weakness to ask for help, it is hard for individuals to admit that they are running their lives on empty. People who coach are not coaching because they have it all together. We coach because we realize that there is a better way to do what we are doing everyday. My partner is a football coach. I didn't realize that I would be gleaning from him techniques for helping other people live a more productive life. I'm sure he didn't know that he was going to learn other ways to deal with conflict. That is exactly what I bring to my personal one on one sessions, seminars and webinars, a no nonsense approach to everyday life.
If you are seriously ready to take the leap, I am ready to help you make the transition from where you are now to where you want to be.
